Soccer Tricks – Jump Over Ball Pop Up Trick


There are a lot of soccer tricks and cool soccer tricks in soccer. In this soccer training video we are learning how to do a jump over ball pop up trick. If there is an official name for this soccer trick, please let me know! Description: I am not sure if there is a name for this soccer trick so I am calling it the Jump Over Ball Pop Up Trick. This is a fancy way to challenge your skills while juggling. Key Points: 1. Toss Ball with Back Spin 2. Bring non kicking leg around ball when ball is coming down 3. Touch ball of the bounce — foot low to high Equipment Needed: Soccer Ball Soccer Exercise Player Can Do: Start just practicing the touch first. Toss ball with backspin, bring kicking foot around plant leg to get touch off the bounce. Once comfortable try it with leg coming around the ball. Once comfortable doing it starting with your hands try doing this move while juggling with your feet. Repeat until you master it or are tired. What Player Could Be Doing Wrong: If you are not getting a good touch off the bounce it is probably because your foot is starting high and going low when you try to take your touch. Remember, your foot should be going low to high. This touch doesn’t require much movement from your foot. Also you could be taking your touch to late. You need to take your touch right when the ball hits the ground, not a second or two later. Bonus Tips: This move is easier wearing tennis shoes on concrete when starting out because you get a better bounce then
